Happy New Year, Safety Heroes!

I hope you celebrated the start of 2023 in good health with loved ones. The New Year is a special moment, a time to reflect on all that we accomplished together last year, and a time to look forward and work towards new goals. In that spirit, I’m proud to share a few highlights and a peek at our year ahead.

SCNSC had a very busy year! In 2022, we: 

• Served a record 22,598 students.
• Offered 821 prescheduled classes and a record 165 onsite classes.
• Celebrated the first full year in our Georgia Training Center in Atlanta.
• Upgraded our Distracted Driving Simulator and relaunched community events across the Southeast.

While we achieved many milestones last year, we’re not resting on our laurels. SCNSC is embarking on a new strategic plan, and we need your help. In the coming weeks you’ll receive requests to participate in surveys, focus groups and listening sessions. Please join us and give us your thoughts.
 
This is only the beginning of our big year ahead! Our 2023 Training Course Catalog is now available to help you plan your professional development this year. We’re also excited to launch a new state-of-the-art website in the coming weeks to better serve your training needs. Stay tuned for new safety initiatives, added benefits and more opportunities to engage with SCNSC, your local NSC Chapter!
