ABC Quality Pediatric First Aid, CPR & AED

Training is FREE for childcare providers enrolled in ABC Quality, thanks to our partnership with the SC Department of Social Services (SC-DSS). Paid registration is available to South Carolina childcare providers who are not enrolled in ABC Quality. Find a class near you.

Pediatric First Aid, CPR & AED Full Class

First-time NSC certification for ABC quality daycare workers and other caregivers (7 hours).

Pediatric First Aid, CPR & AED Recertification

Renewal course required every 2 years to maintain NSC certification (3.5 hours).

Instructor Certification

Certifies a senior staff member (owner, director or supervisor) to train staff at your facility or other child care facilities (2 days).

FAQs

What if I’m already certified with Red Cross or another organization?: When it's time for recertification, you would need to take the full NSC class with us. SCDSS does not allow students to take the NSC recertification class if their existing certification is with another provider.
What if I’m no longer with an ABC site?: Non-ABC enrolled employees may take the class for a fee.
What if my ABC site is pending?: If your ABC status is pending, you can take the class free of charge.
