Important Update for NEW Georgia Flagger Instructors
SCNSC’s Flagger Training curriculum is being updated to meet the new 2023 MUTCD standards. The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) is reviewing the program, and we do not have a timeline for when our instructor course will relaunch.
While existing instructors may continue teaching under the current program, we are not certifying NEW instructors until the updated curriculum is finalized and transitions to the 2023 MUTCD standards.
For immediate assistance:
- Schedule an onsite training for your team for groups of 10 or more flaggers.
- If in need of immediate instructor training, contact the American Traffic Safety Services Association (ATSSA) at www.atssa.com.
