Class Details
NSC First Aid, CPR and AED training teaches the principles of basic life support for adults so you can respond correctly during a medical emergency. You'll learn the latest guidelines for CPR and emergency cardiac care. The training also addresses infection control as well as bleeding emergencies, shock and minor injuries.
Through hands-on training, you'll learn:
- how to assess the scene of an emergency and take stock of the victim's condition
- how to perform one-rescuer CPR and rescue breathing
- how to manage choking in a conscious person
